Life has been pretty non-stop since graduation. Traveled to Ithaca to see my best friend and cause a ruckus for the week leading up to his graduation. Now I’m back home and starting my internship, all while trying to find a bassist and a drummer for my band so we can compete in a Battle of the Bands in about 3 weeks. (If we win we get to play at a festival for about 15,000 people!) So needless to say, I’ve been running myself to the ground trying to figure life out at the moment. I fell asleep at 9pm last night and woke up today at 4:30pm. I think my body is trying to tell me something. I’ll be back soon. I’ve just needed some Jared time.

#1 - High School graduation after a week filled with wildness and debacuhery and my first ever Bonnaroo.

#2 - Virginia Tech graduation after four years filled with wildness and debauchery and a nice dousing of general delinquency.

Save the Stadium Woods
I don’t wear orange and I don’t wear maroon. I don’t go to the football games and I have no idea what our quarterback’s name is. There’s only one part of Virginia Tech I actually celebrate and that’s the College of Natural Resources and the Environment. I don’t know what the hell is wrong with the rest of the school, but at least there’s a few of us who’ve got the right idea. Most of you probably don’t even go here, but if you felt like signing the petition and telling our thickheaded president and the administration that a one-of-a-kind Old Growth forest is far more important than a practice facility for our football team, I’d be more than grateful. My school is on the verge of making a huge mistake.
